The cutting process

 

The T-groove is cut into the surface or the edge with a CNC machine cutter, which possesses protruding diamond tips on either side.

 

 

During the process the cutter cuts into the work piece until the required depth is reached.

 

 

At this point the cutter moves minimally to both sides, cutting the T-groove.

 

 

Finally the cutter moves back to the centre position and then out of the work piece.

The assembly process

 

The connector is slid tool-free and within seconds into the T-groove. The slightly pro-truding

retaining nubs create the optimal resistance.

 

 

The work pieces are then clamped together using a hexagon key and turning it by 90° degrees.
