Installation

1. Choice of the joiners

The 12 mm joiners are generally preferred to the 8 mm joiners. The tightening force of the 12 mm joiner is approx. three times larger than the 8 mm joiner.

2. Positioning

The closer the joiner is placed to the surface, the higher the resulting

tightening force. Choose the smallest possible distance between

the joiners and the power actuator. The middle of the joiner must not

be positioned further than 20 mm from the surface.

3. Holes

Fitting of Invis fasteners requires clean and accurately aligned drill

holes (as for dowels) in the two work pieces to be joined. All stationary

machines used to drill dowel holes are suitable.

4. Inserting of the joiners

The Invis fasteners are screwed into the drill hole exactly perpendicular

by means of the mounting gauge.

5. Inserting of the studs

The Invis studs are screwed into the drill hole exactly perpendicularly by

means of the mounting gauge.

6. Tightening the connection

Position elements and place the Invis power actuator parallel to the

joiner axis. Keep the switch pressed until a clear knocking sound indicates

tightening of the joiner. Let the joint knock for approx. 10 sec. to

ensure a perfect tension between the work pieces.
