Tischlerei Lenhart, Zams

Easy, fast and strong

Lenhart joinery in Zams in the Tyrolean uplands has been managed by its owner Karl Lenhart Jr., since 1987. He has worked for several years together with his two sons Christian and Mathias, who both completed their training at HTL in Imst. The company currently has about 25 employees. The Lenhart's core business is the production of superior furnishings, pieces of furniture and finished furniture elements. These are produced partly for private customers and partly for offices and businesses. "We produce exactly what customers want and design both exclusive individual pieces as well as mass-produced items," says Karl Lenhart.

The company has been using the new Cabineo cabinet connector from Lamello in production for several weeks. Field representative Werner Wahler instantly aroused the curiosity of those in responsible positions during a Cabineo presentation. The connectors were promptly used for several tests in cabinet manufacture. "The fitting impressed us due to its simple processing, time-saving assembly, detachability and high clamping force," says Christian Lenhart, Production Manager and Member of the Executive Board in the family business. He also said that the company was looking for a new cabinet joining system for its own B2B webshop, "We want to offer our joiners a large selection of connectors. The Cabineo is the ideal fitting for this particular purpose . "A workpiece is fully machined in the factory: on the CNC machine, the cut and formatted workpieces are provided with the recess for the connector. This requires a 12 mm milling cutter. The same machine also drills the 5 mm hole for the counterpart. The Cabineo can subsequently be inserted easily and quickly. The company uses Cabineo 12 for corner connections and Cabineo 8 for dividing panels and thinner materials. Assembly usually takes place in the joinery.

With the protruding screw in the connector, the furniture parts can be perfectly aligned and joined with a cordless screwdriver. Lamello cover caps are an attractive way to conceal the connectors. These are available in various colours and are simply pushed on to the Cabineo. The Lenhart's value the cooperation with Lamello and are impressed by the single-piece Cabineo connector with its high tensile force.
